Alexandra Booze is the editor of the international travel and lifestyle blog, East Coast Contessa. Since 2016, she has worked with more than 550 brands from nearly 50 countries including hotels, restaurants, tourism boards, and media companies. A former public relations executive in Washington, DC, she has represented numerous domestic and global corporations and businesses to provide media relations and marketing strategies. Her writing has been featured in media outlets such as Politico, the Wall Street Journal, Trivago’s Room 5 Magazine, The Hill, USA Today, and Huffington Post’s Thrive Global. She was also featured in Women’s Health, and in New York Time’s Best-selling Author Chris Guillibeau’s book, “100 Side Hustles” as a top entrepreneur in America. Prior to 2020, Alex spent two years living and working abroad as a freelance writer and English teacher in Prague, Czech Republic, and later, the wine region of La Rioja, Spain. She holds a bachelors degree in Editorial Journalism and Creative Writing, and a masters degree in Public Administration and Foreign Affairs from Western Kentucky University.
